10-Week Summer Pottery Term

Spend a summer discovering the magic of working with clay! Join Nancy Frost on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 12:30, from 22nd April to 1st July. You will have a break for half term on Wednesday, 27th May. The studio is in a beautiful walled kitchen garden with fabulous views looking out to the Black Mountains - the perfect spot to get some creative inspiration or try out some al-fresco pottery. Our relaxed classes are designed to support you through your clay journey. Whether you are a complete beginner or want to develop your own practice, Nancy will guide you through a range of pottery techniques, including hand building, throwing, trimming, surface decoration, and glazing. We keep our class sizes small, with a maximum of just four students, so everyone has optimal teacher time, access to the pottery wheels, and the chance to become part of our wonderful, supportive potting community. Over the term, you will have the freedom to learn and develop a variety of pottery techniques, working with Nancy to achieve your goals. The ten-week course costs £500, which includes all the tools and materials you may need, including your first 1/2 bag of clay and access to our library of underglazes, slips, oxides, and glazes. The first 3kg of firing is included in your course fee; for any additional firing beyond this, there is a small additional charge based on the weight of your pieces.
