I work in white stoneware and porcelain and fire in electric, charcoal and wood fired reduction kilns. I am drawn to shapes and decoration that work in the home and enhance whatever they hold – be it a mug of tea or a sprig of roses. Decoration is mainly with layered glazes and oxide brushwork. I love the serendipity of how a glaze reacts with the curves of a pot, a carved detail or another glaze. Pottery is an endless journey of discovery.
