Service Description
Have you been inspired by the Great Pottery Throwdown to try your hand at mastering clay? Join us for this one-day beginner workshop where you will have the opportunity to try out some throwing, hand-building and surface decoration. You will spend a couple of hours with each of our teachers, learning how to centre and throw ceramics with Nancy Frost and trying out hand building and decorating a vessel with Gracie Price. In this session you will make 3 pieces to be fired at the end, additional pieces can be fired for a small extra fee agreed on the day. The course price includes everything you will need on the day including a dedicated wheel space, clay, and decorating materials, and most importantly snacks and refreshments throughout the day. Please bring along something for lunch as this is not provided. There will be access to a kettle and fridge and you are welcome to picnic in our wonderful walled garden. “Saturday was so absorbing - the time flew by and was great fun!” - Robbie
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your place, please contact us with as much notice as possible. If we can find someone to fill your place, we can refund your payment as a voucher to be redeemed against future course, workshop, or pottery pieces at Cabalva. If we are unable to fill your place or you have cancelled with less than 7 days’ notice (except for extreme circumstances) we are unfortunately unable to refund your payment. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your event, your payment will be fully refunded.
