5-Week Autumn Term - Wednesdays

We now have a space available to join us for our Wednesday morning pottery classes for a shorter 5-week term with teacher Nancy Frost. Located in a beautiful walled kitchen garden with fabulous views, our sessions run weekly from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, commencing the 5th November. Unlike bigger teaching studios, we keep our class sizes small - a maximum of four students - so everyone has optimum teacher time, a dedicated wheel space and the sense of being part of a supportive potting community. Over the term, you have the freedom to learn and develop a variety of pottery techniques including hand-building, wheel throwing, and surface decoration. Nancy will guide you to create a range of pieces and help you to discover your pottery style. There is plenty of opportunity to explore your interests and gain knowledge from our wonderful ceramics community. The five-week course costs £250 which includes all of the tools and materials you may need including your first 1/2 bag of clay and access to our library of underglazes, slips, oxides, and glazes. There is also the all-important tea, coffee, and biscuits provided each session. There is a small charge for firing your pieces.
